I develop React Native apps for iOS and Android, from first versions of new products to new apps for teams with an existing backend and designs. My scope typically covers the full mobile build: screens, state management, API integration, device testing and store release.

Scope of work

Screens from your designs

Screens implemented from Figma designs, including loading, empty, error and offline states and platform-specific behaviour on iOS and Android.

The app itself

React Native with TypeScript, using the CLI or Expo as appropriate. Features can include authentication, ordering, payments, maps, push notifications, offline data and chat.

Backend and APIs

Integration with your existing backend in collaboration with your backend developers. For projects that need a simple backend, I can build a Node.js and Express API.

Release

Release builds with EAS or native tooling, and TestFlight, App Store and Google Play submissions. Post-launch updates can be included or agreed separately.

Process

  1. Discuss users, core features, designs and existing systems.
  2. Agree on scope, responsibilities, milestones and a quote.
  3. Review working builds at each milestone, with key flows tested on both platforms.
  4. Prepare release builds, support store submission and agree on handover or ongoing support.

Can you work from our Figma designs?

Yes. I regularly build screens from Figma designs.

Do I need an existing backend?

Not necessarily. I can integrate with your existing APIs, or build a simple Node.js and Express API where appropriate.

Do you work with clients outside Oman?

Yes. I work remotely, with meeting times and milestones agreed before work begins.
